Victoria
and Lothar Juergens, an Elementary School Teacher and an Electronic
Engineer, sailed nine years around the world
with a 44 ft. steel yacht.
Aside from sailing, I invent energy saving and
durable electronic devices for yachts.
Inventing and designing electronic devices is also my hobby.
In Singapore and Malaysia my ideas were
registered in 1996 and 1997, inclusive the LED-Navigation-Lights.
No company is allowed to manufacture these
"Navigation-Lights with LEDs", except permit is
granted
by me. All the known companies of navigation lights were informed by
registered letter.
The lack of approval with regards to my invention in different countries, does not affect my registered rights of using Light-Emitting-Diodes for navigation lights. It’s up to the companies with a permit from me, to secure the approval of the navigation lights with LEDs.
Today I can say: Our registration in Singapore and Malaysia was for nothing because our ideas are copied by all manufacturers of positions-lanterns unscrupulous. Robbery of intellectual property has now become a cavalier choice in our society.

our vacation in Spain is also already again over. We have the LED lamps delivered by you; position, anchor and cabin lights mounted and we are captivated. No falsification of the colors. The anchor light equipped with twilight-switch enthused us. Also the G4 socket lights for the cabin have a nice color. On the other hand the China LED's lights are with unpleasant bluish light are rubbish.

In the last nine years, far from home and far from any AC mains supply, we have learned to live comfortably with 12 volts DC. Initially, we had many problems. Manufacturers who produce 12volt products often do so without efficiency in mind.
Designers construct, manufacturers sell and they survive on the sales of their marketed products, however, they do not have to live with them. If they did, they would not produce such power hungry, short life devices. To manage on the battery power at our disposal on occasions was an insurmountable hurdle, particularly in the tropics. We used wind and solar-energy exclusively to charge our batteries. The alternative would have been to use the diesel engine of our yacht two hours each day, which was unacceptable. Electronics is mostly designed for moderate temperature zone, these are not lasting everywhere in the world, like the tropics for example, because of the high environmental temperatures, and humidity. Also, many appliances are not durable, often using prefabricated parts, which were originally developed for toys. The user that uses the electronic equipment for two or three vacations is not aware of this, and if, after few vacation, the appliance wears out, this seems to be normal. Parts, on the other hand, manufactured for motor vehicles, can often be adapted to remedy a problem; furthermore they often have a very much longer lifespan and are more affordable.What can we change?
We could bring much change, but the total yacht electronic to cope up with our high expectations exceed our possibilities. We remain modest, put the focal point on durable, energy saving LED-illumination for which we have already our registered rights. All manufacturers that copied our ideas, we’ll not take notice, now and also in the future, and prove to the users how reasonable, durable and energy saving LED-lights can be.
The LEDs that we use are of chosen top-quality whereby we set special value on high expectation of life, true colour, brightest LEDs, little power consumption and therewith slight warming of the component. Only under these prerequisites, we can deliver our customer LED-lamps in the top-quality. For this we are already well known worldwide.
It is easy and simple to make a fast Euro when importing LED-lamps from the Far East. We tested many of these products, unfortunately not one of these LED-lamps performed sufficiently. The Far East LED-lights are of inferior quality. The light colour is miserable. Yet all tested lamps got too warm > 50° C. With this warming, the life expectation of the LEDs decreases to a minimum. In continuous operation, the LED-lamps fail, the life span is short, it never reached the promised one-year guarantee time. This is desired by the manufacturers so the dealers can sell plenty in short time, then the profit climbs into dreamlike heights; but only as long as the end user buy and accepts the inferior quality.
Attention! There are dealers who called themselves LED-specialists, they only sell cheap Far East wares. Wherein these people specialise, we leave it better open.
With LED-lamps of our own fabrication somewhat can’t happen, therefore we grant five years guarantee on our products, if inserted in a direct current system with the correct voltage.
